Juan del Gado è un artista multimediale che vive e opera a Londra. Juan del Gado is an artist whose practice encompasses photography, moving image and installation. He has produced an extensive body of work that explores themes of trauma, landscape, disability, migration and gender.
delGado has received commissions from Paul Hamlyn Foundation, 2017; British Academy, 2000; Wellcome Trust, 2001; Queer ID Festival, 2007; and Unlimited, 2014. His works have been exhibited nationally and internationally at National Portrait Gallery, London; 4th Mardin Biennial, Turkey; ARTBO, Colombia; ARCO, Madrid; End of the World Biennial, Argentina; Birzeit Ethnographic Museum, Ramallah; Jerwood Space, London; Museum of Islamic Art, Qatar; Tyneside Gallery, Newcastle; Fundacion Laxeiro, Spain. Juan delGado lives and works in London.
