Debora Del Pistoia è un’attivista, giornalista e ricercatrice impegnata da anni nel campo dei diritti umani nel Mediterraneo. E’ co-autrice del libro “Rivoluzioni Violate. Cinque anni dopo: attivismo e diritti umani in Medio Oriente e Nord Africa ” e ha pubblicato numerosi articoli su migrazioni, questioni di genere e libertà d’espressione e attivismo in Nord Africa, dove vive dal 2011. E’ co-promotrice di Sabir Fest e co-fondatrice dell’associazione Maydan sulla cittadinanza mediterranea. Lavora come responsabile delle campagne su Algeria, Marocco e Sahara Occidentale nell’ufficio regionale di Amnesty International a Tunisi.

 

Debora del Pistoia is an activist, journalist and researcher and has been engaged in the area of human rights in the Mediterranean for many years. She is the co-author of the book: “Rivoluzioni Violate. Cinque anni dopo: attivismo e diritti umani in Medio Oriente e Nord Africa” and has published numerous articles on migration, gender issues and freedom of expression and activism in North Africa where she has lived since 2011. She is a co-promoter of Sabir Fest and co-founder of the Maydan Association on Mediterranean citizenship. She is responsible for campaigns in Algeria, Morocco and the Western Sahara in Amnesty International’s regional office in Tunis.
